So, there’s no picture. I need to take a new one. I’ll get that done this weekend and add it.

I have 4 great loves that really define who I am. They are God, my family, photography, and pregnant and birthing women. Just about everything I do is centered around one of those things. Now and then, something else captures my attention, but it tends to be a bit more fleeting.

I’m a laid back kind of person. According to a couple of assessments I’ve taken, one of my spritual gifts is faith. What this means is that I tend to not worry too much about stuff and have a lot of trust that God will work things out. I’ve not been disappointed yet. Plus, I have low blood pressure and I look 10 years younger than I am!

I tend a bit toward the crunchy side of things with a bit of a modern flair. I like to have my babies at home, with just Tom and the kids around. We use cloth diapers, when we diaper. What I really prefer is to start pottying at birth. I nurse my kids until they decide to stop. We try and live as natural a lifestyle as we can, leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible with a family this size. I think we probably “consume” less than families of only 2-4 members. These are things that are important to me. God gave us this planet and it’s resources to have dominion over, but he also commands us to be good stewards of what we are given. I don’t think, as humans, we’ve done a good job of that in the last 100 years or so. We do the best we can to treat His creation the way we feel He would prefer.
