My Beautiful Emily

So, I’ve been SO busy the last couple of weeks getting things ready for my big senior portraits launch that I haven’t done anything at all personal on the web, including updating this blog. We’ve had so much going on that I want to blog about! Noah went to camp, Emily went to CIY and got to see Eli for a week (pics of both events, of course). We had VBS, which I don’t have any pictures of. BUT, I DID get video of Tom all dressed up as the crocodile. Of course, I’m sure you’re dying to see that! All of those are things to come… soon, I hope.
Otherwise, things are going well here. No one’s sick, knock on wood. We are all ready for school. Emily starts this week and the others in about 10 days. Olivia’s very first day of kindgergarten coming up. There’s another picture moment!
So much going on! I’m going to try really hard to keep you up to date about all of it!

A couple of weeks back, when we dropped Emily off at church to leave for Costa Rica, it was raining. While they were getting loaded up, the kids decided to play in the rain. They got really wet. That happens with rain.

Note the black eye and chicken pox. He’s still pretty cute, though.

Olivia is too much of a princess to get wet in the rain, so she didn’t play. She was sitting in the entry way to the church because it was just too cold for her delicate constitution.

MCP Actions is having a contest. They are giving away a great lens. I really need an all around lens like this and would love to win. What I have to do is post on my blog a link to the contest. So, this is my entry! Wish me luck!

We went to Hannah’s first viola concert yesterday. This was an all district concert. It included all 4th and 5th graders from all 11 elementary schools. Hannah plays with the 4th graders because this is her first year to play. The school she went to last year didn’t have strings, so she was not able to play last year. We’ll have to work lots over the summer to get her caught up to 6th grade level for next year.

And here, you can listen to the concert. Nothing specific to her, but you can hear what level she’s playing on. You can’t really see her very well. We were using a cell phone. But, it’s kind of cute anyway.
